A fun team-building event reminiscent of "The Generation Game" & "It's A Knockout."
The first element is an interactive session of circus skills based on John Jeremy's highly successful "Circus Whiz."
Under the guidance of tutor/entertainers every team member tries their hand at juggling balls, clubs, diablos, walking on cup and fun stilts, spinning plates and ropes, riding on pedal-gos and balloon modelling.
The teams have to ensure that all skills are covered before the game commences.
The event normally takes place indoors with between 20 and 80 competitors (the workshop may be outside).
Timings are variable, the workshop may be in the morning followed by the game in the afternoon, the two elements may be together; split by dinner; or the whole event take place after dinner.
The second element is the Corporate Team Challenge
Six to eight games are played. Each has its own introduction from a professional entertainer after whcih the teams compete. Games are based on the skills learnt in the workshop, plus one or two surprises. At the end the scores are totalled, the winning team announced, followed by our version of the conveyor belt to produce the winners' prizes.
All The Corporate Team Challenge team needd is a function room, a chair for each competitor and a couple of tables. Back-drop, P.A. system, scoreboard, referee and compere are provided along with all the workshop and game-show equipment, plus as many tutor-entertainers as necessary.
The workshop and games are not messy or dangerous, come with full public liability insurance and many years experience.
Alternatively the event can conclude with a circus show in which as many participants as wish can take part alongside the professional artistes. |
